Student of the Month: Vinnie Henderson
We held or Easter Egg competition where Evie judged a wonderful selection of ideas.
In 4th place was Harrison Sampson with The Alien Dojo
In 3rd place was William Reason with Star Wars
In 2nd place was Ozzie Henderson with The Good Dinosaur
1st place was awarded to Liam Moody with Sesame Street
Super well done to Evie Ackroyd who passed Sandan in Barnsley under Sensei Billy Higgins - 8th Dan, Sensei Frank Brennan - 8th Dan and Sensei Garry Harford, 8th Dan!

Paul Carmichael achieved his assistant instructor award - well done!
The Sunderland Championships took place with all our entrants performing well - special mention to Alex Irving-Walton who placed 3rd in boy's kumite 11-14yrs under 5ft!
Charlotte Reason represented the club at the KUGB Shotokan Cup
Our club had a great time at our 15th annual Karate on the beach with Kokoro Karate Club at Blyth beach.

Advanced Kata and Kumite weekend course with Sensei John Bruce 6th Dan, Sensei Holly Bruce 5th Dan, and guest instructor Sensei Jack Somers, 4th Dan.

The joint winners of our Summer Holiday competition (judged by Sensei Holly Bruce 5th Dan) were Liam Moody & Thomas Joulin - well done!
